Meet Talar Herculian Coursey— author and humanitarian. She is a warm and dedicated individual who has been steering the ship as the President of the Salt Lake City chapter of the Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief (SOAR) since 2015. Every year, you'll find her lacing up for the Salt Lake City Half Marathon, all in the spirit of raising funds for SOAR. And guess what? As an author, humanitarian, mom, and more, she wears many hats and has a blog that gives a real look into her life in a cozy corner of the internet. There, she shares immigrant stories, her legal journey, and offers friendly advice for law students and new lawyers. And if you're a book lover like Talar, you're in for a treat—she shares her favorite children's and grown-up books, sprinkled with pictures of her adventures.

Her upcoming release, Ralphy's Rules for Feelings, launched on January 23rd! What makes it even more special? Talar wrote this book with her son, Riley, and their inspiration for Ralphy is her King Charles Cavalier. To add to this book's impact… With every book sold, a part of it goes straight to SOAR to support their incredible humanitarian efforts.
